In short: Nobo Keyboard does not collect, send or sell what you type. Everything the keyboard does — typing, suggestions, Quran, Tafsir and Hadith search — happens on your phone. We have no servers that receive your data, no accounts, no ads and no analytics.
1. Who we are
Nobo Keyboard (package name app.nobojagoron.keyboard) is an Android keyboard made by Nobojagoron ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information on your device.
2. What a keyboard can see
Like every keyboard, Nobo Keyboard receives the characters you type so it can turn them into text and show suggestions. Android shows a standard warning about this when you enable any keyboard. Nobo Keyboard processes this text only on your phone, only to provide the keyboard, and never transmits it.
3. Information stored on your phone
The following is saved only in the app's private storage on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
| What | Why | Your control |
|---|---|---|
| Learned words and word pairs (only if word learning is on) | To suggest the spellings and next words you use most | Turn off or delete any time in Settings |
| Clipboard history (text you copy while the keyboard is in use) | So you can paste recent or pinned items | Delete items or clear all in the clipboard panel |
| Recently used emoji | To show them first | Cleared with app data |
| Your settings (theme, size, sound, vibration and similar) | To remember your choices | Change in Settings |
Learned words and clipboard history are encrypted on the device with a key kept in the Android Keystore. The app does not learn anything typed in password fields or in apps that ask keyboards not to learn (for example incognito browser tabs), and it skips clipboard items that Android marks as sensitive, such as copied passwords. This data is excluded from cloud backups and is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
4. Internet use
Typing, suggestions, the Quran, Tafsir and Hadith all work without internet. The app asks for internet permission for one purpose only: the translation feature uses Google ML Kit, which downloads a language file the first time you use translation. Translation itself then runs on your phone and the text you translate is not sent anywhere. While downloading the language file, Google receives the technical information any download requires (such as your IP address); see Google's Privacy Policy and the ML Kit terms.
Links in the app (such as this policy) open in your browser only when you tap them.
5. What we do not do
- We do not collect or transmit your keystrokes, messages, passwords or personal information.
- We do not use advertising, advertising IDs, analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not ask for location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage permissions.
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
6. Google Play data safety
Because no user data leaves your device, Nobo Keyboard declares on Google Play that it collects no data and shares no data. Data processed only on your device is not "collected" under Google Play's definitions.
7. Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. If a future version ever needs to handle data differently, we will say so here before that version is released.
